When beautiful young publisher Maggie Livingston (Terry Farrell) learns that she has been adopted as a child, she sets out to the small town of Pinecrest to locate her real parents. But the journalist's arrival in the town sets a series of unpleasant events in motion, as the townspeople seem to harbour a dark and deadly secret. Will Maggie find out the truth about her past?
