Oscar-winning drama about Charlie Babbitt (Tom Cruise, pictured, left), a self-centred young man who discovers that he has been disinherited in favour of Raymond (Dustin Hoffman, pictured, right), his autistic older brother who he never knew existed.

Incredulous that a man who has no concept of the value of money has been left $3 million, Charlie kidnaps Raymond and heads back to California from Cincinnati. But Raymond refuses to fly, forcing them to drive, and a touching relationship develops along the way.
