Aborigine girl Molly, her sister Daisy and cousin Gracie are part of 'the stolen generation', packed off to a government centre because they are half white. Hating the education system and pining for their homes, they break out and walk 1,500 miles across the desert, following the fence which bisects Australia. Powerful true drama.
