Biting, witty story of a Hollywood actress battling against drug dependency and working in the shadow of a famous showbiz mother. Carrie Fisher wrote the screenplay from her own best-selling, semi-autobiographical novel. It takes an overdose of sedatives and a subsequent stay in a rehabilitation centre for the anguished actress to be able to rebuild her life and her career.
