During the Korean war, Lieutenant Joe Clemons and his troop of GIs must retake a lonely hill that has been overrun by Chinese forces. Based on actual events, this war film commemorates the lives of the men who died in an assault that ultimately turned out to be pointless, as the hill was of little strategic value, used simply as a bargaining tool in truce talks.
