A man is sent to Europe to bring back a wealthy American industrialist's son - but soon decides to bump him off and assume his identity, muscling in on the dead man's girlfriend and making the most of the family fortune. Drama, starring Alain Delon, Maurice Ronet and Marie LaForet, which was recently remade as The Talented Mr Ripley.
