Long and overblown third instalment of the Pirates of The Caribbean franchise, released in 2007.

While Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp, pictured) loses his grip on reality as a prisoner in Davy Jones's Locker, Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) attempt to unite the pirate lords against vile blaggard Lord Beckett (Tom Hollander).

The plot is messy and over-intricate, and at nearly three hours the film outstays its welcome. But stick with it for the tremendous ending, with Bill Nighy on form as Davy Jones.
