Alex Fong plays a cop trying to stop gang warfare breaking out after a mobster's son is shot, while a naïve hitman arrives with a job to do in a city he's never visited. While Fong tries to keep a lid on things, Wu, taken under the wing of worldly Cecilia Cheung, finds his employer has grassed him to the cops, but even they don't know his ulterior motive for taking the job.
