Drama in which a series of events link five disparate strangers in New York on Christmas Eve. A lonely divorcee whose elderly mother is hospitalised with Alzheimer's meets a fellow hospital visitor. A woman breaks off her engagement to her jealous fiance, who in turn is pursued by a stranger convinced that he has found the reincarnation of his late wife.
