Rousing action drama in which the US Navy's elite commando force, the SEALS (sea, air, land), is sent to rescue hostages from a ship in the Middle East. A plot is uncovered to sell stolen Stinger missiles to terrorists, but when the SEALS launch a surprise attack in Syria to retrieve the armaments, the terrorists become more aggressive and the mission more dangerous, culminating in an invasion of besieged Beirut.
