Mild architect Matt Saunders (Luke Wilson) finds the courage to chat up Jenny Johnson (Uma Thurman) on the New York subway. She's terrific... until they split up, and she turns psycho.

To be fair, the signs were there from the moment the excitable G-Girl swore Matt to secrecy about her secret identity. "Say, 'I'd rather have a chainsaw shoved up my ass than tell'," she insists.

"Is that even possible?" he muses.

"Say it!" she yells.

Having ended the relationship, all hell breaks loose. G-Girl throws his car into space and causes him grief at work. Not only that, but to interrupt his date with new girlfriend Hannah (Anna Faris), G-Girl throws a full-size great white shark through Matt's apartment window.

Released in 2006, this romantic fantasy comedy is built on a combination of likable stars, strong direction from Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters) and a sprightly script by Don Payne (The Simpsons). It's more fun than Uma's had at the movies for ages.
