Drama about a mother who is forced to come to terms with the fact that her 20-year-old son is a killer. Irene McNair (Judith Light) has always wanted the best for her son Teddy (Johnny Galecki), especially since his twin brother died when he was just a young boy. Teddy has felt lonely since the incident and has always told Irene that she only ever sees things the way she wants to see them - not as they truly are. However, now Irene and her husband Ed (RH Thomson) are faced with the worst truth of all: their son is almost certainly murderer.
