Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale is given a madcap twist, as the inimitable Muppets take over his Treasure Island. Humans involved are Kevin Bishop, who plays the young adventurer Jim Hawkins, with Gonzo and Rizzo as sidekicks. Tim Curry is wonderfully manic as Long John Silver, but the real stars of the show are Miss Piggy as Benjamina Gunn, queen of the warthogs, Fozzie Bear as Squire Trelawny, and Kermit as Captain Smollett. Another masterpiece of Muppet madness!
