Beautiful and spirited Princess Mulan is quite happy being independent - until the love of her life, General Shang, proposes. She's thrilled, and they start to plan the wedding. But before they can get married, she and her fiance must undertake a secret mission for the Emperor. They are to escort three princesses to China for their weddings. It sounds simple - until Mulan discovers the girls are marrying against their will, and decides to try to help them escape. This brings her into conflict with her husband-to-be - as if having the Mongols to fight wasn't enough! What's more her hilarious pal and guardian dragon Mushu discovers he'll be demoted if Mulan marries, and sets about splitting up the happy couple! Those are the ingredients for an entertaining sequel to the original hit film, another exciting family adventure featuring ER's Ming-Na as the feisty Mulan.
