This is Neil Jordan's depiction of the controversial life and death of this charismatic republican leader, from the Easter Rising to the Anglo-Irish War.

Known as the 'Lion of Ireland', Michael Collins led the IRA against British rule and founded the free Republic of Eire in 1921 and this is his life story.
