John Carpenter's comedy thriller stars Chevy Chase as Nick Halloway who, caught up in a freak accident, becomes invisible. Forced to flee the CIA, who see him as an outstanding asset, his only help is anthropologist Alice Monroe who, as well as providing the love interest, helps him to come to terms with his plight.
