Every year in the Antarctic, emperor penguins make the perilous journey to their breeding ground to find a mate.

Once there, these serial monogamists struggle to hatch just one egg, and ensure their chick survives the harsh blizzards of the Antarctic winter.

This film documents their astounding voyage, narrated by the dulcet tones of Morgan Freeman.
