This is the epic dramatisation of T.E. Lawrence's life and his efforts to unite the Arab's against the Turkish empire in World War I.

The film tells the story of British lieutenant T.E. Lawrence who wrote this story of the political history of Saudi Arabia.

The story begins with the young desk soldier, T.E. Lawrence (Peter O'Toole) who is stationed in Cairo during World War I.

Frustrated by the lack of career opportunity, Lawrence is finally given the chance to prove himself when he is assigned the job as an observer with the leader of the Arab tribal army, Prince Feisel (Alec Guinness)

Lawrence's complex personality is explored throughout this film, against a backdrop of brilliantly stunning desert scenery and engrossing action which makes this multi-Oscar winner worth the notoriety.

What else can I say but a truly Brilliant! film.
