When widower David (Mark Ruffalo) moves into a new apartment, he's shocked to find the old tenant is still there - in spirit at least. Workaholic doctor Elizabeth is trapped in limbo following a traffic accident. Technically she's in a coma back at the hospital; spiritually she's very much at home.

Unable to remember anything about her life, Elizabeth is outraged to discover that her 'friends' didn't think she had one! And when her neighbour describes her as "the cat lady without any cats", she knows she has to change. Will Elizabeth get back to her body? Will David ever use coasters on her best coffee table? And what happens when she wakes up?

Mean Girls director Mark Waters creates a stylish romantic drama with a heavenly twist at the end.
