Cybill Shepherd, star of TV's Moonlighting, heads the cast of this powerful drama as a courageous single mother fighting to have her autistic son accepted by society and to win him a place in a special school. The boy is revealed to be a musical genius - a mixed blessing that makes her struggle no less difficult as she battles to keep control of her son's extraordinary life with the help of Frank LeBois, a teacher at a celebrated Boston music school.
