A gunfighter is hired to kill a Confederate veteran who has returned from the war to find that everyone has turned against him. But the veteran proves more than a match for the half-black, half-Creole killer, Jules Gaspard D'Estaing, who has a habit of killing people - once they have mastered the correct pronunciation of his name.
