Casey Carlyle is a very bright girl with a very pushy mum. She's on a fast track to Harvard and hoping for a physics scholarship. But she hates being thought of as a nerd, and would love to be one of the in crowd - especially as a friend of Nikki, Tiffany and Gen, who compete on the figure skating circuit at the highest level. She gets her chance to train with Gen, but just can't get the hang of it - until she applies science to the problem, and suddenly it all comes together.
