The third part of the Highlander trilogy sees Christopher Lambert team up with Mario Van Peebles for one last adventure.

The film is set in 1994, which makes it a prequel to the second film. After the death of his beloved wife, Heather, some centuries ago, Connor MacLeod (Lambert) left the highlands of Scotland and wandered around the world. Finally, he arrived in Japan, where he met the famous sorcerer, Nakano, who, like MacLeod, was an Immortal. Soon, they became friends and Nakano taught Connor a wealth of new skills. One day, an old enemy, Kane, came to Japan hoping to find Nakano's cave and kill him. Although he succeeded, after cutting off Nakano's head, the mountain collapsed and Kane was trapped. Now, centuries later, an excavation reveals Nakano's cave...
