Victoria Pratt stars as Laney Hennessy, a successful lawyer whose fiance is accused of murdering a high-profile politician. Despite the protestations of her friends and colleagues, Laney decides to defend her beau in court, but as she gathers evidence for the trial, she begins to wonder whether she knows the accused man as well as she thinks.
