Production Year: 1994

Filmed in Colour

Disturbing drama based on the true story of two teenage girls whose obsessive relationship leads them to commit murder.

Peter Jackson makes a big change in his usual GoreFest type movies (Bad Taste and Braindead) with this award winning and compelling blend of true crime story and dark fantasy.

The film won various awards and was nominated for an 'Original Screenplay' Oscar and sees Kate Winslet in her critically acclaimed debut film role.

Jackson does very well in showing what could bring two impressionable youngsters to commit such a terrible act of violence.
