Alcoholic superhero John Hancock (Will Smith) is loathed by the people who he is supposed to protect, after several of his drunken mishaps cause untold damage to the city of LA. When PR man Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman) takes it upon himself to polish up Hancock's image, the grouchy superhero slowly realises that it's time to mend his ways.

Once again bringing a top-notch performance to a popcorn blockbuster, Smith is heart-wrenchingly good as the troubled hero. With great support from Arrested Development's Bateman, as well as Oscar winner Charlize Theron, Hancock is a winning mix of superhero action, heartfelt drama and laugh-out-loud comedy.
