Bill Forsyth's FilmFour-funded sequel to Gregory's Girl.

Two decades after a teenage boy's crush on a schoolgirl football player, Gordon Underwood (John Gordon Sinclair) is now an English teacher at his Cumbernauld alma mater.

He soon finds himself caught between committing to fellow teacher Bel (Maria Doyle Kennedy) or allowing rein to his fantasies about pupil Frances (Carly McKinnon).

However, he's forced into action when Frances asks if she can meet him after school to share with him a very private secret...
