Powerful thriller set in Mississippi in which a crusading lawyer joins with the widow of a civil rights leader murdered in 1963 to solve the crime. Thirty years after two trials failed to convict a white supremacist for the assassination, the Assistant DA sets out to prove that attitudes to race have changed in Mississippi, and that the victim did not die in vain. Based on a true story.
