Powerful thriller set in Mississippi in which a crusading lawyer joins with the widow of a civil rights leader murdered in 1963 to solve the crime. Thirty years after two trials failed to convict a white supremacist for the assassination, the Assistant DA sets out to prove that attitudes to race have changed in Mississippi, and that the victim did not die in vain.
