John Singleton's action drama stars Mark Wahlberg, André Benjamin, Garrett Hedlund and Tyrese Gibson as Bobby, Jeremiah, Jack and Angel Mercer, brothers by adoption by their foster mother Evelyn Mercer (Fionnula Flanagan).

When their foster mother is gunned down in a botched convenience store robbery, the four adopted brothers meet again at the funeral and swear to track down her killers. But as they investigate the killing, they discover that her murder might not have been an awful accident but something darker...
