Classic espionage thriller about an American crime reporter who gets caught up with the Nazis and fifth columnists in pre-war Europe. Johnny Jones finds himself reassigned as his newspaper's foreign correspondent, with special instructions to find the most provocative political stories, but when a Dutch diplomat is shot dead in front of him, Jones sets off on a trail of intrigue and murder.
