Elvis Presley plays Western? A surprising success, starring 'The Pelvis' as Pacer Buron, a 'half-breed' caught between the battle lines of a bitter war in which the Kiowa Indians are on the attack. Pacer's family is split down the middle as the races pair off. Despite what looks like an unusual collaboration between singer Presley and Dirty Harry director Don Siegel, many critics see this as the King's finest film.
