In this re-make of the AIP B-movie classic, Scott Ziehl's film sees security guard and comic book-geek Devon Gummersall inject himself with spider serum from the lab he's protecting, believing it will turn him into the Arachnid Avenger. Well, almost but, unlike Peter Parker's fate, this doesn't have a happy ending..
