In 1939 Ireland, a young man (Matt Keeslar) decides to lead a 40 mile cattle drive rather than selling his cattle to an unscrupulous local buyer. Brenda Fricker appears as Keeslar's aunt and Mark Lambert is an army deserter, who signs up for the drive.
