Following the success of Doctor Dolittle, itself based on the 1967 original, Eddie Murphy once again plays the eponymous doctor who can talk to animals in Steve Carr's sequel. A group of beavers, headed by a Godfather-style leader, ask Dolittle to save their habitat from loggers.
