Vintage comedy with the late great Dirk Bogarde as the hospital doctor with a tyrannical boss. When the fiery, overbearing consultant surgeon suddenly mellows, the hospital staff do not know whether to be pleased or alarmed. Has he fallen in love? The young doctor adds his chief's love life to the catalogue of medical duties that make up his day.
