Chetan Prakash (Rishi Kapoor) and Payal (Moushumi Chatterjee) are in love and would like to marry, but their fathers have different ideas. They'd like them to marry spouses of their choice. The young couple elope and and marry on the run. They both find jobs, not realising that their employer is under the power of a gangster who has a gas chamber that he uses to kill people...
