Dinosaur follows the adventures of an iguanadon named Aladar, a hatchling who has been raised by a group of lemurs. When their colony is threatened by a meteor shower, he and his friends join up with a group of dinosaurs to look for a new home. But Aladar's compassionate nature brings him into conflict with the group's leader, causing even greater problems for the gentle giant.
