This brutal, scary horror thriller stars Franka Potente as Kate, a party-girl who wakes up late at night on the platform of a locked, deserted Tube station. When an empty train pulls in, she gets on, little realising she's embarking on a nightmare journey of blood and death, as a killer who haunts the Underground seeks out fresh victims...

Christopher Smith's Creep is firmly in the mould of Hostel and Saw, but in a very British setting (he went on to write and direct Severance). Inspired by Gary Sherman's 1972 classic Death Line, the film suggests that parallel to the Tube tunnels are others - some harmless sewers, others more dangerous - that might, for example, have been dug by survivors of genetic experiments at a hospital above the Underground line.

The film makes the most of the claustrophobic setting and Smith manages to conjure up other victims for the killer to set the scene and increase the horrors before Kate must face him, or, more precisely, it...
