An irresponsible father and ex-husband is forced to live Christmas Day over and over again until he learns to make amends for his past failings. Although his initial reaction is to revert to his childish behaviour, he gradually begins to realise that the only way to escape the repetitive nightmare is to treat his son and ex-wife with the respect they deserve.
