Psychological thriller in which a college professor finds himself on the verge of a breakdown when he becomes a suspect in the disappearance of his wife. Distraught by her absence, he begins to lose a grip on his sanity, and when a friendly student offers to help him solve the mystery, he is grateful for her assistance. But the young girl's presence serves only in complicating his already fragile existence.
