If there's one subject the Carry On team never seemed to tire of, it was doctors and nurses. Any excuse for Hattie Jacques to play 'Matron!' In this one, they end up engaged in a hospital power struggle as the hospital staff take on the patients. Medical puns and bedpan jokes galore bolster the hospital hijinks.
