Comedy about a harassed advertising executive who is reluctantly taking his turn at the school run when he and the children in his charge are suddenly taken hostage. Stopping off on the way to school to buy doughnuts, he walks into the midst of an armed raid carried out by a down-on-his-luck carnival owner. The showman takes the stuffy executive and the children hostage, and the group end up having a wild adventure.
