Another classic Terry-Thomas and Peter Sellers pairing. This Roy Boulting and Jeffrey Dell comedy features a perfectly cast Thomas as Britain's worst diplomat, plunged into a crisis in the seemingly sleepy colony of Gallardia. Thomas's feeble handling of a row over mineral rights leads him to constantly fall foul of Sellers' oily Prime Minister Amphibulos.
