Lightweight comedy about an unmarried dentist who asks his assistant to pose as his wife in a bid to allay his young mistress's marital urges. But his assistant seems to blossom in her assumed role, and the romantic balance among the three begins to shift. In her first major role, Goldie Hawn won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
