Offbeat comic adventure with two Californian high school students and a host of historical figures. Bill and Ted are more interested in being rock stars than students, but they have a history exam to pass. Fortunately, a guide from the future arrives with a time-travelling phone booth to introduce them to history's leading lights, ensuring they make the grade and fulfil a musical destiny.
