Fast, frantic comedy thriller, starring Eddie Murphy (pictured). He plays Det Axel Foley, a Detroit cop who lives by his own rules, disobeys orders and travels to Beverly Hills to track down his friend's killer. But California just does not seem to be ready for his unique wisecracking approach to justice, and he attracts the attentions of armed factions on both sides of the law.
