Wartime comedy that pits the might of the Nazi empire against Britain's secret weapon - George Formby. Stumbling by accident, first into the Navy, and then into the clutches of an enemy spy ring, our gormless hero does his level best to keep his head on the high seas, bring the Nazis to book and win the heart of a woman.
