Barry B Benson (Jerry Seinfeld) is an everyday bee with a dream. Bored of the hive, he escapes and makes contact with a florist called Vanessa (Renée Zellweger).

Enraged to discover that humans have been stealing their gooey honey goodness, Barry sets out on a crusade that will change the ecosystem forever. But will it be for the better?

Steering clear of the limelight for almost a decade, it is unsurprising that Seinfeld's silver-screen return has garnered a lot of - ahem - buzz. Thankfully, the attention is more than deserved. An animation with scope, Bee Movie is at once, a touching coming-of-age tale, sweet romance and thrilling courtroom drama.

Perfect viewing for all ages, the film moves from laugh-out-loud pratfalls to stinging satire without so much as a bumble and is aided by top-notch performances from Seinfeld and Zellweger. A welcome addition to the animation canon.
