Drama in which a grief-stricken man whose daughter is missing, presumed dead, involves an unwitting girl and her mother in a dangerous plan to track down the killer. He rescues the woman and her daughter from their broken-down car and is struck by the resemblance of the daughter to his own missing child. He soon hatches a scheme to lure his daughter's killer from the shadows by using the women, who are unaware of his plans.
