This high-quality chick-flick comedy stars Tina Fey (pictured, left) as uptight Philadelphia career woman Kate Holbrook, who decides to have a child late in life. Her plans hit a snag when she discovers she is unlikely to conceive. Hiring obnoxious South Philly girl Angie Ostrowiski (Amy Poehler, pictured, right) as a surrogate, Kate is horrified when Angie turns up on her doorstep with nowhere to live. As the mismatched pair clash, some shocking truths come to light.

Best known for her spot-on Sarah Palin impersonations, Saturday Night Live star Fey is equally hilarious playing the waspish Kate, with fellow SNL star Poehler giving as good as she gets as the self-centred Angie. Directed by Austin Powers writer Michael McCullers, Baby Mama is a witty, sparky comedy, which also features appearances by Sigourney Weaver and Steve Martin.
